Petford Tools has adopted key tools from the Automotive sector for example Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for all new projects, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) through to Production Planning Approval Process (PPAP) and customer approval. Therefore proactively identifying potential quality issues and minimise risk to new projects.
